The cookie is a session cookie set by Window Azure and is used to make the site work optimally. The cookie contains no information about the user and is broken when the browser is closed.

ai_session and ai_user

The cookies are set by Microsoft Application Insights to log performance and any errors that may occur. Cookie ai_session is saved for 30 minutes and ai_user is saved for one year. The cookies contain no information about the users.

_cfduid

The cookie is set by CloudFlare and is used to keep apart visitors with the same IP address. the cookie contains no identifiable data about the user and is deleted after 1 year.

Cookies for Matomo

Our analysis tool Matomo sets a number of cookies:

matomo_sessid When using the opt-out function (this is called a nonce and helps prevent CSRF security issues).

Matomo

We use the web analysis software Matomo to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as page views and visits. The information is used to improve the website and optimize the user experience. The cookies for this service are described further up on this page.

The data collected in Matomo is anonymized so that we can never identify an individual. We also never share this data with third parties. All services used for data collection are operated in environments that are within Sweden's borders and that are dedicated to the Swedish Medical Products Agency.
