Adverse events in animals

Veterinarians as well as some health care professionals are obliged to report adverse events. Also pet owners, farmers and animal health care professionals may report adverse events in animals.
All suspected adverse events in animals and humans arising from the use of medicinal products in animals must be reported to the Swedish Medical Products Agency (MPA). Lack of efficacy, residues and environmental impacts of medicinal products should also be reported.
