Pharmacy symbol

The pharmacy symbol (Apotekssymbolen) is a trademark that all dispensing pharmacies in Sweden that have a licence from the Swedish MPA must use. Pharmacies may use the symbol after signing a licensing agreement with the Swedish MPA.
There are guidelines and instructions available regarding the use of the symbol. Guidelines, graphical manuals and digital originals of the pharmacy symbol are available and can be downloaded.
Management of the symbol in practice
The Swedish MPA does not provide practical assistance with applying the symbol in practice; anyone using the symbol attends to this themselves, e.g. using a suitable contractor.
